If you are feeling ill, have been diagnosed with Covid-19, or have been in contact with someone that has been diagnosed, please stay home.

The world may have slowed down, but your kids didn’t slow down on growing!

We are here to do our part to help our community sell and buy what their growing family needs for the upcoming seasons.

Below, You will find our plan to address this health pandemic at our sale.

We intend to consult & follow the CDC guideline for retail sales, as well as the Cecil Co. Health Dept and State of MD.  

 

General

• Requiring scheduled shopping appointments to limit the amount of people in the building at one time.  Tickets are required for all adults, either paid or free, to ensure an accurate count. 

• Extended the sale schedule to allow for additional shopping day, and additional break down 

• Requiring guests and workers to wear a face covering while in our building.

• Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout our building.

 

Building/Sale Entrance

• Bi-Lingual Signage will be posted at our entrance informing guests that a mask is required, and that if they are feeling ill, or have a fever they are asked to not join us.  

• Guests will be asked to use hand sanitizer before they enter.  

• We will be cleaning/sanitizing shopping bags/rolling carts after each use

• We will be tracking the number of people that enter/exit to maintain an accurate count. 

 

Floor Plan 

• Wider aisles to allow for proper social distancing

 

• Installing signage on the floor with social distancing reminders

Check Out/Register Stations

• During peak times, Shoppers will have the option to drop their purchases to us and exit the building, and we will call their assigned number to complete their purchase without a line.

• Registers stations will be cleaned and, 

 

• • Hand sanitizer will be available at each register station

  • Pens will be cleaned and rotated out

  • Credit card machines will be wiped after each use

  • Stations will be cleaned when each team partner changes shifts

  • Sneeze guard/Plexiglass will be affixed to register stands if needed

  • Customers will be 6’ away from register 

 

    

 

Consignors 

• A drop off appointment is required to ensure distancing 

• We strongly encourage no children attend your drop off, and only bring 1 helper if assistance is needed

 

Unsold item pick up 

• We strongly encourage no children at the retrieval of unsold items and only bring 1 helper if assistance is needed.

 

Partners/Workers

• The sign in station pens will be cleaned and rotated frequently

• Hand sanitizer will be available in this area 

• Will be required to wear a face mask 

• Will be asked to wash their hands frequently

General Sanitizing/ Cleaning 

• Shopping bags will be sanitized after each use and rotated 

• Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building

• High traffic areas, bathrooms, and doors will be sanitized frequently

• Sale location will be cleaned and disinfected nightly 

 

Please: 

• Stay home if you feel ill, or have been in contact recently with someone that is ill 

• Leave children at home for their safety and for our limited capacity

• Bring your mask, and feel free to bring your own shopping bag if desired
